A sporting and human experience imagined and created for young football lovers.
Mpoku Camps are football camps organised by footballer Paul-José MPOKU. Our mission is to make football accessible to everyone, regardless of club affiliation, and to turn it into a genuine driver of personal and collective development. Because football conveys strong values: RESPECT, TEAM SPIRIT, CONFIDENCE AND AMBITION. We use it as a tool to help young people grow, both on the pitch and in life.
Our camps are aimed at girls and boys aged 7 to 15 who are already registered with a club (except girls, who may simply come and discover football), and who want to improve, thrive and dream bigger. We also have two categories for children aged 5 and 6 and for those aged 15 and 16, subject to specific conditions explained below. Supervised by professionals, the young players develop in a supportive, structured and stimulating environment, combining sporting demands with the enjoyment of the game. Here, every player develops their skills, asserts their personality and builds the foundations for future success. The initiative also contributes to the development of the region.
After 10 successful editions, we are pleased to invite you to the 11th edition of the Mpoku Camps, organised by the Mpoku Academy from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026
We are pleased to open this camp to 12 children born in 2019 or 2020 (aged 5 to 6), provided that they are already registered with a club. As only 12 places are available in this category, we will accept only the first 12 players registered in this category.
Exceptionally, we are also opening a new category for 15-16-year-olds. This category is reserved for young people who have already taken part in a Mpoku Academy camp and/or are already registered with a club. This category is therefore not open to beginners.
As always, the Mpoku Academy camp offers specific goalkeeper training and a girls’ section so that every player profile can find their place on the pitch.
Finally, we are offering a 50% discount for girls as part of our introductory offer reserved for girls who would like to try football. No previous experience is required: there is no need to be registered with a club or to have already played for one. Whether you are simply curious, sporty or looking for a new challenge, this camp is for you. The objective is simple: to allow as many girls as possible to discover football in a friendly atmosphere, improve, have fun and enjoy a great week at camp.
We organise our camps 2 to 3 times a year: in spring, summer and autumn.
Occasionally, “The Mpoku Camp comes to your area”, meaning that we organise it in another location so that children from other towns can take part. The October Mpoku Camp will take place at the Pôle Sportif de Wegnez, Rue de la Paix 30, 4860 Wegnez.
THE OFFER
- Intensive training : Intensive training: Participants will benefit from intensive, supervised training sessions tailored to their age and skill level.
- Discovery and excursion : A visit to a first-division stadium in Belgium or a neighbouring country, or a full-day excursion.
- Free jersey kits : Each child will receive a complete jersey kit.
- Meals and snacks : Freshly prepared hot lunches, snacks, and drinks are included in the price.
- Prizes to be won : Gifts and surprises will be offered to participants throughout the camp.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
You can drop off the children between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM for a program that starts promptly at 8:30 AM. You can pick them up between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The responsible team provides supervision from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM and from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
We offer 5 pricing options for our camps:
- EARLY-BIRD RATE : The standard registration fee for the camp is €210 per child, but we would like to reward those who register early. We therefore offer an €11 discount for any registration made no later than one month before the start date of the camp. The early-bird rate is therefore €199 per child for any registration made up to and including 26 September 2026.
- STANDARD RATE : This is the regular price for registration, which is €210 per child.
- FAMILY RATE : This discount is granted only to children from the same family, i.e. brothers and/or sisters. The more children from the same family you register, the greater the discount. If you register two children from the same family, each child receives an €11 discount. For two children from the same family, the price is €199 per child. If you register three children from the same family, two children will each receive an €11 discount and the third child will receive a €15 discount. Please note that our discounts cannot be combined, meaning that you cannot combine the early-bird rate and the family rate; it is one or the other.
- LAST-MINUTE RATE : This rate applies to any registration made during the last 8 days before the start of the camp, including the first day of the camp itself, subject to availability. The last-minute rate is €220.
- GIRLS’ SECTION RATE: As part of our introductory offer exclusively for girls, we are offering a 50 per cent discount on the standard rate for girls. The rate for all girls is therefore €105 per child.
On our website, you can pay by debit card (Bancontact/Maestro), by credit card (Visa/Mastercard), or by bank transfer. If you prefer to secure your child’s place by paying a deposit, that is also possible. You can pay either the full registration fee or a deposit of €50 per child to guarantee their spot. If you choose to pay a deposit, you can settle the remaining balance on-site on the first day of the camp.
It is important to note that registrations, whether paid in full or via deposit, are only refundable upon presentation of a medical certificate.
At the payment stage, you can choose your preferred payment method: Bancontact, full bank transfer, deposit transfer, or credit card. All payment options allow you to pay either the full amount or a €50 deposit per child to secure the registration.
If you choose to pay a deposit, you can pay the remaining balance on-site on the first day of the camp by cash or Payconiq. Please note that the registration will only be confirmed if we receive the full amount or deposit by bank transfer within two business days after registering on the website.

“My main motivation was to create football camps for young people in my hometown, Verviers, to pass on my advice by sharing my passion and the experience I’ve gained throughout my professional career, for the benefit of future talents.
The camps are intended for girls and boys aged 7 to 15 who love football and want to learn.
